We had an epic “fall” day in late September (actually 90 degrees out and sticky) – caught the last day of the Wings of Fancy butterfly exhibit at Brookside Gardens and checked out the regional park and playground nearby. What a great day! Totally wiped my little monkeys out.

The butterflies plus a walk through the garden (with our buddies Grace and Felix) plus a playground and picnic lunch PROBABLY would have been sufficient, but wouldn’t you know it there was also a Montgomery County festival going on with live music, free food and bounce houses. Dylan and Hudson went to town… including walking a couple miles to and from the car – their legs are getting strong! No surprise they passed out in the car on the way home.

We are getting the hang of this no nap schedule, but probably need to schedule a little bit of quiet time into our day!
